Green Stink Bug

Green stink bugs are prominent shield-shaped insects recognized by their bright, uniform green coloration and pale yellow antenna accents. They feed using piercing-sucking mouthparts to draw sap from a wide variety of crops, fruit trees, and native plants. When threatened, special glands on the thorax release a pungent chemical fluid that deters predators like birds and lizards.
